Great Location, property was clean & comfortable. Well equipped for a family getaway.

The single beds are quite small me being 6’1 found that my legs were hanging off the bed considerably. It’d be a great size for a family with 2 adults that share the Master Bedroom.

Double bed was very comfy. Caravan was located at the back of the site. A 6 minute drive from reception/check in so it was lovely & quiet. Seller gave a discount on entertainment passes which was nice. Shower was lovely & hot.

Was looking forward to our stay as we had stayed the year before (with a different host) and we liked the site. Photos looked lovely. Booked last Oct ready for first week of July. Paid in full week before. Then got a message asking for £100 damage deposit plus £85 for passes (got this down to £20 in the end as there was only 2 of us). Arrived at caravan 4pm, couldn't park as an electrical engineer was there doing checks inside the van. First look round and was very disappointed. Caravan was very worn and dirty. There were crumbs and bits of chocolate on the sofa, seats looked like they had been sat in all day, the edging of the sofa was all ripped. The carpet hadn't been hoovered. I had to hoover the settee cushions and use duvet covers off the beds to sit on all week. All of the outdoor cushions were just piled up in the living room windows and had blood marks on them. They stayed in the living room all week as there was no storage box out on the decking for them. Kitchen utensils were dirty. Drawers underneath tv had cards/games but these were all tipped out/mixed up. I personally think that an external company comes in to change the bed linen only but the hosts rely on whoever is leaving to clean the caravan. It had definitely not been cleaned when we got there. I had to hoover and clean the plates/cutlery etc so that we could use them. Luckily I always take my own baking trays/wooden utensils etc so we were ok for cooking. Was looking forward to having a bbq but it was honestly filthy. The bikes that were attached to the caravan were all rusty & damaged so we didn't use those either.. I'd asked beforehand if there was a fan and was told yes, but there wasn't. Just 2 fan bases shoved in the bottom of the double wardrobe. We had to put our clothes in the single wardrobes. It was also night flying week for the local airbases so we had horrendously loud jets going over the caravan each night until midnight.

The location, though a bit further from the main attractions, was perfect for us. It was so quiet and peaceful! We loved having a bike to use since renting one for three days would have cost £50! The hot tub was fantastic—clean and such good value for money to have a hot tub stay in a park like this! The lights around the balcony are a lovely touch. My toddler loved watching the RAF planes! The site facilities were excellent! The egg chair was a fun touch!

There were a couple of minor issues that I mentioned to the host. They called me immediately to address them and assured me they would take my feedback seriously for future guests. That, to me, is excellent customer service. Not everything can be perfect, but their response was impressive!
