Very special place in the nature with really cool bungalows in rustic design. The personnel was extremely friendly and supportive. Breakfast and dinner in the open air restaurant (vegetarian and ayurvedic) was also nice and quite unique. The Ayurvie is a relaxing place with a small quiet pool. Sometimes a peacock comes to drink from it. Next door there is a larger sister hotel "Aliya Resort" with a bar and a larger pool, which can also be used. The Ayurvedic treatments we had were very good. Location was good for us, 15 minutes Tuk-Tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rock.

Until 10pm and from 5am there was quite some noise on the roof of our bungalow (squirrels). Not the fault of the hotel, but might be relevant for others. We could not adjust the fan speed of the air condition (and in operation it was too loud to sleep). The smell in the bathroom was... let me say "not too fresh".

Struttura immersa nella natura, circondata dal verde. Bellissima. Le camere molto grandi e belle, forse leggermente buie. Bagno grande e molto bello. Ottima la colazione e anche la cena. Abbiamo provato trattamento ayurveda e ne siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Bella nche poter fare yoga.

Non c'è una vera e propria reception ma potete scrivere su WhatsApp alla receptionist. Ci hanno preso 6 euro per un presunto "costo di cambio valuta" quando in realtà nessuna struttura che ha preso il pagamento tramite Booking.com l'ha fatto. Anche perché loro hanno deciso di prelevare in dollari e la nostra banca gli ha cambiati in euro. Non hanno fatto nulla al riguardo quando l'abbiamo fatto notare. In questo il customer service di Booking.com è stato inutile, vergognoso. Ho scritto due messaggi e mi hanno risposto dopo il secondo poi mi hanno chiesto di caricare dei documenti dicendo che avevo tempo fino al 26 agosto. Il 12 agosto ho avuto problemi di rete nel caricare e tornando al link mi dava il messaggio che non avevo fatto in tempo ed era troppo tardi. Davvero un customer service inesistente che mi fa seriamente pensare se valga la pena prenotare tramite loro. Non sono i 6 euro che sono poco e niente ma una questione di principio, e soprattutto di vedere come l'assistenza non funzioni.

The staff was just incredible : so nice, helpful and attentive. The place is very quiet and peaceful. There are lots of animals fooling around (peacocks, squirrels, birds, etc). You can here prayers in the distance at the end of the day. The room was a dream. The mattress was very comfortable. We enjoyed the bathroom a lot. If you want to eat something else, Aliya's restaurant is just a few minutes walk away. There, the staff is also amazing.

The place is not correctly located on Booking. It's 10 kilometers from Sigirya. Which means you have to use transports every time you want to go somewhere.

Quel bel établissement ! Au calme avec un environnement magnifique ! La clientèle cible est la pour faire une retraite ! Ce n’était pas notre cas mais le personnel était tout aussi attentionné envers nous ! Une expérience entière à découvrir ! Et pour ceux qui veulent plus d’animation, vous pouvez profitez des installations de l’hôtel à côté ! Un combo gagnant !

De kamers waren enorm groot en straalde rust uit. De yogalessen waren erg interessant en leuk om mee te doen. De maaltijden waren goed.

We konden helaas niet via booking.com voor een retreat boeken. Dit was achteraf beter geweest en goedkoper. De afstand naar Sigiriya is een stuk verder dan wordt aangegeven.
