Luxury Rural Ayrshire Glamping Pod

Just back from a couple nights stay away for Hogmanay. We had a really lovely time away! Location is beautiful and quiet. Weather stayed great so we managed to get the fire going and watch the stars! Even got a wee aurora shot too! Was also nice to wake up on the frosty mornings and take in the view (: A little fireworks display both nights made an appearance to make it even more special! You have everything you need from washing up things, crockery and cutlery. With a couple of added luxuries of our own, we managed a traditional steak pie dinner on New Year’s Day and watched the darts on our tele 🙌🏻 Roslyn the owner is extremely nice and helpful and is always a message away for anything else you might need. Just before we left we got a wee visit from a couple of the horses that stay on site 🥰 Didn’t want to come home! 😭 5 stars

This place is a complete hidden gem. Stunning views and setting. If I had stayed longer, there were lots of walking and cycling opportunities around. Not that I cycle, but for information purposes, I'm adding that. There are only 2 pods and a cabin in the enclosed field, well spaced out and safe for dogs off the lead. Firepit at the pod with a supply of wood provided to start off a campfire. The shower was great and instant hot water. The owner was very helpful too. A perfect night in all.

In the description of facilities in the booking.com page it fails to mention that there is a 2 ring electric hob and also a microwave so I only took cold food for my stay as it is remote and didn't want to have to go back out or to bbq.

The view is amazing .it was in a nice area.

The price was a little steep, think it was worth bout £60 - £75 for the night, On the information it doesn't tell you that there is 2 hobs and a microwave so only took cold stuff as only stayed 1 night.

House music being played at night from nearby cabin. Rubber mattress covers. No bedding.

Beautiful scenery and wonderful to watch the horses enjoy their time in the field below. Glamping pod was well equipped and nicely presented.
