Wee Hoose Glamping Pod 1

The peace and quiet was amazing, and the host was great and explained all necessary things when we arrived. The breakfast provided was nice. We appreciated the little honesty shop, as we were way to tired to head out for dinner. The views were lovely, even had some sheep walk right outside on the road. Each pod had its own designated parking spot. We slept incredibly well, the beds were comfortable and the pod cooled down for the night.

Quirky and really good breakfast. Got exactly what was offered and described. Had a great nights stay.

The location is lovely. It's so pretty and peaceful. There was a great little area where you could sit around a firepit and have a BBQ. There was plenty of wood available. The honesty caravan was great as it had BBQ utensils that you could borrow along with fans and other things you might need. All profits go to the air ambulance which is a really good cause. We were in the smaller pod as this was the only one available at time of booking and being 6ft 7 was a challenge but we knew ahead of time so I knew what to expect. Kevin makes sure you have all the information you need before your trip. He was also very knowledgeable about local trips and things to see. The breakfast provisions in the morning were a lovely touch and we enjoyed cooking that with the backdrop of the lovely view.

Midgies! (Obvs there is nothing the Wee Hoose can do about this). When the wind drops they can come out in force! So maybe pack a mosquito net and spray so you can still sit out and enjoy your evening. There are citronella candles for each pod but the Scottish midgies are a different breed! 🤣. We ustilised one of the fans that were available to use to help.But if you are having a BBQ or using the firepit that will keep them at bay. You have to take the rough with the smooth to be able to enjoy all the beauty Scotland has to offer.

Kevin was such a nice, welcoming guy.. The pod was.perfect, stocked up with fresh milk, eggs, butter and stuff for breakfast... just really enjoyed a peaceful stay here

Everything was as advertised, only better. The breakfast was excellent, the shower worked perfectly, and a bonus was the "store" with enough provisions to ensure a bit of extra food and entertainment (books, games). But the most impressive aspect of the pod was how much was provided in such a small space, without seeming cramped or in the way--I'd say this was really one of the most pleasingly efficient spatial arrangements of any room I've ever seen.
