Beautifully crafted hut in an idyllic setting with outstanding views.

Woody's Retreat was warm, comfortable and had everything we could possibly need for a quiet getaway. The pagoda was brilliant and kept us dry in all weather! The enclosed garden was perfect for our little dog to explore without worrying about him escaping. We were extremely grateful for the milk, bread, orange juice and other goodies that were provided for us upon arrival. Claire was easy to contact and checked to see if we had settled in. Can't wait to stay again!

A larger duvet would have made our stay even better and perhaps another shelf in the bathroom for toiletries.

Everything was perfect - quiet location, amazing views, cosy, comfy, warm hut, friendly helpful host - couldn't have wished for more. We were delighted with all the extras such all breakfast essentials and a chilled bottle of prosecco which made us feel right at home! We would love to return and explore the local area a bit more.

The location couldn't be better. The cabin and everything that comes with it was beautifully designed and made with real attention to detail - no corners cut here. A little piece of heaven.

It’s a self catering shepherd’s hut fitted to the highest specifications and attention to detail. Even used wool for insulation which is an excellent use of an entirely natural resource. It was wonderfully warm and comfortable with a really great view across to Pendle hill. Brilliant location for walking, Forest of Bowland is easily accessible. Claire is a delightful host and all the welcoming touches were much appreciated.

Can’t think of anything that could be improved

Claire and hubby were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The welcome package was absolutely amazing and totally unexpected. We've stayed twice now and will definitely use again and again.
