Cabin Dan

Potential to be excellent.

Compact size, as expected. Should therefore be easy to be cleaned properly before arrival. Site could look better, lots of broken or discarded vans. Had initial contact with owner - left message on departure but no response.

Lovelly comfotable little cabin. Very nicely decorated and set out wonderfully with so much in such a small package. Very comfortable bed with a fully equiped kitchen ans shower, watch the water pressure when busy.

Having to empty the chemical toilet.

We enjoyed a lovely short stay in this charming extended shepherd's hut. Everything that you could possibly need was supplied along with some unexpected extras. We particularly liked the large, comfy bed with crisp cotton bedding - lovely! The inside was charmingly decorated and there was also a pretty outdoor seating area with a woodburner. As an added extra there's a 'secret seat' - an open cabin with comfy seats, very useful if the weather is inclement or if it is too hot to sit in the sun - a nice touch. Cabin Dan is sited on a very pleasant campsite with its own very good facilities so you don't always have to use the bathroom in the Cabin. The location is by a fairly busy road but it didn't spoil things - the pub is just a few minutes walk away & you can walk to Great Malvern in 45 minutes to enjoy some breathtaking views from the Malvern Hills. Highly recommended.

Snall seating area with chiminea was a bonus. attention to detail inside also interesting

The cabin was delightful, clean and cosy with a welcoming glass of wine each ..We loved the quirky features .The bed was so comfortable and the shower was lovely and the view of the beacon hill was beautiful .The location was perfect for us with the swan Inn pub just a short walk away and supermarket a short drive away .We walked to the top of the beacon hill , very tiring but well worth it and we visited Eastnor Castle on our last day before we headed home , fantastic day out , wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely be back to this perfect retreat , thank you Jan for letting out your beautiful cabin to us X

The only thing was emptying the portaloo , which we knew about before we arrived .Next time I'd only use for a number one lol 😂 ..

The cabin was fitted out very well . Lots of nice touches . The shower was a real bonus

It’s positioned close to a road , so lots of traffic noise . I had and used ear plugs . I had difficulty emptying the chemical toilet , and the distance from where you are asked to empty it meant it wasn’t easy to carry

The cabin was very clean and cosy. I only went there to sleep as I was out for long hours at a weekend family party so I didn't make use of the facilities, but there were several private outside seating spots, a gas barbecue and a chiminea. It was nicely fitted out with a neat little galley kitchen and a great shower.

It was tricky to find in the dark!

It was fun staying in Cabin Dan. Cosy and comfortable. Everything I needed. I was at a conference and I wanted somewhere a bit different to stay and this was perfect. Waking up with a view of a large field was lovely. The cabin had all the basics and a good shower. I left my car nearby rather than risk it getting stuck in the field if it rained and enjoyed the short walk in my wellies. There is a nice pub nearby for an evening drink. All v good. I left an article of clothing there and the owner helpfully will post it back to me.

There is some road noise that I noticed in the morning but it didnt wake me. The road is quiet at night.

We loved the cabin, it was everything that we expected and more

The road is very close to the cabin and we had trouble sleeping because of the noise.

Lovely and peaceful fully equipped with everything you could possibly need even wine !
