"Just to sleep before continuing our Scottish round trip."

7.0

It’s small, very small. It works for sleeping but even to eat breakfast is a bit challenging. Would get something bigger if I needed to sleep more than two nights.

Shower cabin was really tiny. Not really any room to wash both hands at once in the toilet. Trash bins big enough for two weeks take up too much space. Couch almost had the springs coming through.

I recently stayed at North Point Pods while travelling the NC500 and was very impressed with the accommodation. The pod was spotlessly clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen area was particularly well stocked, with plenty of utensils, an air fryer, and all the essentials. It was also a nice touch to find complimentary milk in the fridge and tea bags, coffee, and sugar waiting in the cupboard. If you’re expecting a large amount of living space, a pod may not be for you, but what it does provide is peace, quiet, comfort, and everything you need for a relaxing stopover. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept exceptionally well during my stay. The bathroom was clean, modern, and well appointed, with everything presented to a high standard. What really stood out, however, was the attention and care shown by the owners. They are clearly very conscientious and genuinely want their guests to have an enjoyable and comfortable experience. I would happily stay here again and would highly recommend North Point Pods to anyone travelling the NC500 and looking for a clean, comfortable, and peaceful place to stay.

Gillian was an exceptional host, who went above and beyond our expectations. On the day of our arrival she even messaged us to let us know that there had been Orca spotted just a short drive from where the pods are located! We paid for the breakfast pack and this did not disappoint. The produce was clearly all bought locally from butchers etc and not just out of a supermarket, which made our stay even better.

Wow! Our first pod accommodation and what a high bar. Well laid out with everything we needed plus more. Immaculate inside and out with a lovely outside deck. Very quiet and good car parking.
