Great place. Wished I could stay longer

no food at the Doornfontein cottage

a bit remote and with all the rain the road was bad...... we wouldnt have gone if we had known that the house was so far off the tar

Great place lots of open space and lovely owners! Will go back if ever I go that side.

The house is decorated in a very cute old farm style. The porch provided a lovely view and vibe. The Bed was comfortable and shower was lovely. All room necessities were provided. We didn't bring groceries so the hosts kindly cooked us a meal on short notice. A delicious one at that! Next time we will be sure to have our groceries with as there are no shops nearby! A walk around the area is worth it for the lovely scenery

I can honestly say the only negative thing is that it's a little far out on a dirt road, but even so, the drive is worth it. One thing to note, though, is that the dirt road is quite rocky.(when dry) And if heavy rains have created mud, you need a higher vehicle to pass through. Lower cars may get stuck.
