*Peaceful Place with Great Staff!"** Agraharam Resort is a hidden gem surrounded by nature. The staff, especially Prajosh were friendly and helpful. Manager Suraj made sure we had everything we needed. The pool with its hill view was so relaxing. We also loved the night safari and the visit to Kalindhi River, where we got beautiful pictures thanks to Arjun. The Brahmagiri trek was a great adventure. The cottages were neat and had a cozy, traditional feel. This place is perfect for families or anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature. Definitely recommend it!

Amazing Stay with Friendly Staff! We had a great time at Agraharam Resort! Manager Suraj and the team—Darshanwere so welcoming and helpful. The cottages were clean and had a lovely traditional vibe.

Cottage had sufficient space for 2 individuals. Location was great, 2-3 min drive to the Thirunelli Temple. Also, options for hiking and organised trips into the protected forest areas. Food was tasty. Vishnu (Staff) was very professional and friendly. He has very good knowledge of the location and surrounding areas and was able to guide us to plan our activities during the stay.

Excellent location close to Thirunelli temple and Brahmagiri hills. Peaceful greenery with swings and hammocks. One member of staff assigned to each villa. Darshan was very attentive and helpful. Campfire on one night, which was very pleasant. Great location and friendly staff let down by poor amenities and dated infrastructure

Old and dated rooms and furniture. Walls had damp on them-see picture. Very basic furniture in the living room. No amenities in bathrooms. Food on first night was poor with dal the only vegetarian option. Food improved slightly after that but still quite basic. No snacks with evening tea. Way overpriced for what it offers.

Location is great and the drive to the property is very beautiful.

Staff were not very reactive or attentive to details. The room had a musky smell and it was clear the bedding had not seen sunlight for sometime. The food was very average and the breakfast spread was extremely basic (the bread was not even fresh!). The pool was also not very cleanly maintained; same with the play facilities - bicycles were not working; the carrom board was super rough and the TT racquets were hardly usable!

This property is amidst nature. It is so close to Thirunelli temple and you get the spiritual vibe. Prajosh was our representative assigned for our stay and he was very cooperative and helpful. The entire staff is very welcoming. We had infants with us and Prajosh was arranging requirements to make our stay comfortable. I do highly recommend to stay in Agraharam resorts. We really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor games and Jango who is guard dog there who accompanies visitors on their walks. You can get night safari arranged and there is a high chance to see elephants, bisons and many other animals.

Our stay at Agraharam Resorts in Thirunelly, Wayanad, was simply wonderful and deserves a 10-star review. Surrounded by the beauty of the Brahmagiri mountains, the resort provided a peaceful and natural escape that we’ll always remember. The food was outstanding—easily the best we had during our travels in Wayanad. We enjoyed both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and each meal was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The amazing food alone would make us return! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Prajosh, Shinto, and Suraj for their warm hospitality and quick assistance. The social media manager was also kind and took great photos of us, which he shared with a smile. Evening riverside walks were a highlight, offering serene moments with the calming river and lush surroundings. We also enjoyed cycling around the area and playing badminton—the perfect way to end our day. The resort’s pool was a great spot to relax, and the nearby safari options, including the exciting night safari, made our visit even more memorable. Lucky to spot elephants, wild gaur, langurs, and sambar deer, which added a touch of adventure to our stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. While not a modern luxury resort, it offers fantastic value for the price. With its lovely ambiance, amazing staff, great food, and beautiful setting, we’ll definitely be back!

Food - the breakfast is really passable!! Options is limited (which is normally fine) but the quality of the options were not up-to-mark! The corn was old and musky whereas the main dish often lacked any taste. The chutney (except the last day) was mostly just water and some salt! Dinner was so ordinary we had it only one day! Food plays a major part of the "trip satisfaction" so this was a bit tough! Another thing was the overall maintenance (or the lack of it!) - The bicycles were not usable; the TT racquets were all broken (but thankfully still usable); the extra bed has likely not seen the sun for a while and one of the rooms leaked of some powder from all over the roof (termites?). The swimming pool is decent but there is a "floating" lighting with (currently) covered cables that brought back to memory of recent tragic electrocution of a kid in an hi-fi apartment swimming pool due to corroded cable - best to "simplify" the lighting! And finally while the staff meant well - they lacked professionalism! An example is a request to change the room of my friend (for whom the roof was leaking some sort of powdered wood). While we were away, without any notice, they shifted the room - bags, clothes and all! They should have informed early and allowed my friend to at least complete the packing before such a room transfer!
