Very disappointing 5 stars resort not even 3 stars Very poor for everything food and the service

The resort area was very nice, well kept and plenty of staff.

The food in the all inclusive was terrible, the restaurants all were very poor, the other option being the buffet wasn't anything better, for the amount of money you pay to stay here in the all inclusive and the difficulty of actually getting into the restaurants on the resort we where expecting much better meals. It was also disappointing that facilities like the Suana were a extra charge considering the price of the stay already.

Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. The spa was good and the staff in the spa were really friendly and helpful, they are a separate company so you have to pay extra. The pools seemed really cool but unfortunately a bit cold during our stay. The bar and restaurant staff were all very friendly.

If food matters to you, do not go here. I am surprised that other reviews were so positive, I can only assume that recently it has gone down hill significantly, or maybe it was because it was half term week. They were more interested in feeding masses than quality, very disappointing for a 5 star resort. Some examples, the breakfast sausages were extremely low quality meat and the scrambled eggs looked like it was made with powdered eggs. Items were also mislabelled, for example in the dinners where it was a restaurant rather than self service (as with breakfast and lunch), BBQ smoky chicken was grilled with no BBQ sauce and the teriyaki salmon was salmon without teriyaki sauce. The service was friendly but very overstretched, they were hard working. The hotel room is 5 star, but the food and restaurant is more like a school canteen. Not terrible, but not in line with the 5 star hotel. The entertainment was embarrassingly poor, very much aimed at children, more family fun rather than a special time. The activities were all tied to Tui and as we didn't book through Tui the staff were more of a barrier, overly friendly and somewhat condescending, probably because Tui is aimed at family fun. It was also all tied to a tight schedule. When we were there unfortunately the weather wasn't great, when we asked reception for activity ideas they were unhelpful, for example they failed to help us go into town via public transport, instead they booked us a taxi without giving us a quote first which ended up being 100+ euros return. The next day we figured out by ourselves how to take the public bus and it was super easy, clean, comfortable, fast and cheap, we don't understand why reception didn't know anything about it when we asked. We tried out the games room and it was very expensive and the ceiling lights flashed unpleasantly.
