it would have been nice to be allowed to dump our stuff even though we were early the pod was ready and the tea shack and snug would be a tight fit in high season

Perfect little pod. The owners have really thought of everything, facilities immaculate and “the snug” was fully kitted with everything you could need

Place is lovely. Very clean toilets. Our kid loved the outdoor hammock. The landscape is beautiful 💚🪵🌿

The kitchen setup is quite disappointing, especially for longer stays or for groups. It relies on an old log-burning stove both for heating and for cooking, which makes preparing any meal extremely slow and impractical. The hob and oven take ages to get hot, and you constantly have to add logs just to keep it going. Because everything depends on this old stove, cooking becomes nearly impossible when more guests are staying—there’s simply no way for everyone to prepare dinner in a reasonable amount of time. It’s a charming idea in theory, but not functional in reality. If you’re planning to cook for yourself during your stay, be prepared for frustration or consider bringing alternative cooking options.
