Best RV-Studio to Visit NYC-EWR Airport-Free Parking

Nothing. Total disappointment. We honestly thought it was a scam at first. Can't believe booking.com would let a property be advertised in such a misleading manner.

It felt like a total scam. False advertised. No AC and we didnt know we had to do a scavenger hunt for it, hot tub is extra $50, no tennis courts ( notice below she doesn't argue that in her response). It is a small RV jammed up in someone's backyard in a sketchy area behind another rental property with bars on screen doors. It is not an RV campground. IT IS A PARKED RV in someone's yard. It is a shared location. Not at all private. There was someone climbing on our RV at 6:30 in the morning to cut to cut down branches very close to our windows when we were in our underwear sleeping. Someone was coming out on the deck that we thought was supposed to be private and smoking what smelled like weed in the middle of the night. A highway was one block away. Traffic noise all night. Ants were all over our stuff in the morning although we had no food out. Hot water only lasts 30 seconds. I heard the hot water tank trying to light repeatedly during the night keeping me awake from sleep.(probably bad thermocouple) I think owner doesn't realize. Under the bathroom sink smelled like sewage. However, that may be typical for an RV. Had to check in late because property owner was unresponsive. We called booking.com representative and they couldn't get ahold of the property manager until after check in. We requested a refund at that time from booking.com thinking it was a scam but they pushed us into staying here anyway. No private parking. We struggled to find a parking spot that wouldn't tow us away when we checked in as the driveway was overflowing with double parked cars. Both me and my girlfriend literally vomited that night and morning due to stress and lack of sleep. If we could have found another place to stay we would have. All surrounding hotels were booked from a local concert. Because booking.com didn't refund my money for this trip, we have decided not to use their services any longer and we encourage everybody to do the same.

Shower was filthy, there was no AC as advertised, the photos do not match the reality of the booking. There was no privacy shade on the hot tub as advertised in the photos. The fire pit area looked nothing like the photos. I paid extra for the hot tub and we did not use it because we did not stay. They are refusing to refund me. I told them that day after seeing the dismal condition of everything that we would not be staying. They put a little desk fan on the floor and tried to say that it is air conditioning.

Less than 10 minutes from EWR airport, had to catch a flight early in the morning and it worked perfectly. Never stayed in an RV before but it turns out it is like a tiny home. The RV has everything you need, even a heated blanket that made it super cozy :-)

Listing is pretty accurate. If you park in the driveway don't forget it is shared. Other guests had to go into the place and get the person to come move the car. If you haven’t been an RV before like me and my friend it was difficult figuring things out. Like how to turn the shower on and the heat and how to function a fire stick. We thought it was just a tv and we searched for a control all over. Had to get in touch with the host for small questions. The host was pretty good at responding and our stay was pretty good overall.
