Very clean, superb value for money, breakfast included is great addition. For what you pay, you can't complain, clearly cared for.

Toilet on septic tank gives you a shock haha

We absolutely loved it here, the owner was so welcoming and lovely, the facilities and pods were so well thought out. As soon as we left we talked of plans to hopefully return! We stayed here during the nc500 and it was by far our favourite. Thank you so much!!

A new experience for us as never done glamping before. A great location and a warm and informative welcome from the owner.

No one’s fault but it was a cold night

Idyllic location, rustic, no frills, tiny pods but everything you need , an honesty shop for essentials and it also contained stuff to borrow , binoculars, wellies , guitars, lots of random but useful stuff .. Kevin the owner was fantastic , he had so much information , he supplied a fabulous full English breakfast every morning that you cooked yourself ( included in the price) lovely place to meet like minded people round the fire pit

The quiet location along the valley and the big comfortable bed. Beautiful views of the fells from the pod in both directions. Fresh eggs from the chucks and a fridge full of goodies too! Friendly informative host.

Just a bit squished in the kitchen space to prep food and wash up but everything you need to create tasty meal.

Lovely setting, host very friendly and helpful throughout stay! Breakfast had a very generous portion. Honesty shop was also beneficial.

Sehr netter Host, der mich freundlich empfangen hat und mir alles gezeigt hat. Am Morgen gab es sogar frische Croissants. In der Hütte ist alles vorhanden was man braucht.

Cosy wee pods, every thing you need supplied. Very peaceful location, a really escape from the hustle of life.

Not really a dislike and we were expecting it but the mobile phone reception / 4/5 G was non existent for O2 and Tesco mobile phone services, not sure about other providers! (But a nice escape from technology anyway 😊)

Perfect little pod, just what we needed for our overnight stay while driving route 500. Tucked away off the beaten track. Had everything we needed. The guy was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Lovely breakfast in the fridge which we cooked in the morning before we left, including vegetarian sausages, bacon and black pudding for me and the meat option for my husband. Well set up with fire pit and swing ball which would be great for summer evenings and I’m sure there was more but it was raining while we were there so didn’t fully explore. Comfortable bed and clean en-suite. Even provided dog treats for our dogs.
