Willow Brook Shepherd Hut

Immaculately kept and clean, great facilities in a cosy compact space, which is comfortable and very relaxing. Excellent location for Sidmouth and surrounding areas and attractions.

The hut is superb. Done so well & with a retro vibe that I loved. Compact but roomy like a Tardis 😀. Beautiful flowers every where. There are goats & chickens as pets & we fell in love with them. We were surrounded by beautiful countryside & a gorgeous mountain walk. We were able to have bbq’s & just totally relax. Peter the host is so welcoming & generous. The local people are all so friendly. Sidmouth is a truly lovely place. Thanks for having us.

Bit of a walk into town but doable

We liked the replica of the Shepherds hut. It was very quaint with all mod cons. and cosy. Also there was a comfortable seating area outside surrounded with flowers etc. There was also a pond with geese, hens and a couple of characterful goats.

The facilities were good. However for those cooking in the hut a few more items in the kitchen would be good. ie a chopping board and a few more teaspoons. We only had one to share! there were 2 of everything else which was good.

The peace of the location, the goats, geese, chickens, cat and dog were a wonderful touch, the cosy hut and the delicious fresh eggs kindly provided by the host.

Highly recommend guests make themselves aware that there is no TV and no internet but even without these it was a wonderful little break.

good central location. very clean and compact - everything you needed for a short stay

on entering the grounds for the first time, it wasn't that clear so we ended up driving part way up a lane that was very overgrown. realised it wasn't right, so called the owner who said we needed to reverse back down the path we had wrongly driven up and make our way to the correct bit we needed to drive into for the hut. this wasn't the end of the world just didnt want my car to get scratched with the bushes etc. our lovely stay here far outweighed the initial problem.

The location was perfect, not to far away from things so could easily walk or drive to where you need to go. The aesthetic of the property was gorgeous, honestly can’t say enough good things about our stay.
