Gorge View Bush Retreat : Katherine NT

Sehr ruhig und nahe am Katherine Gorge.

Sehr viele Fliegen und dergleichen wenn es dunkel wird und man noch Licht braucht.

Helpful host. The sunset deck with pretty lights and facilities was stunning! Loved the big shaded poolside area.

Kitchen needs some knives and utensils.

Carney and Kate were excellent hosts, and have thought of everything. The glamping tents are extremely comfortable with lovely linen, a couch, aircon and plenty of space to move around. Amazing facilities with a netted and well equipped camp kitchen. A large and comfortable covered area right next to a delicious pool perfect for late night dips. We loved watching the sunset on the bush sundeck sharing a drink and great conversation with our new ‘Glamperous’ neighbours. Carney also gave great tips on exploring Nitmiluk, which turned out to be spot on. So grateful to stumble on this place, highly recommended.

The tents are much nicer than expected! Location is very convenient in between Katherine and Nitmiluk national park. I was lucky to be there for the sunset deck and a full moon rise, it was lovely to share this with the group. Owners and receptionist were absolutely delightful, what a pleasure to be received with such warmth. I will absolutely come back next time I visit the NT. If you’re after a true outback experience feeling safe and comfortable, this is it!

Das Übernachten im Glampingzelt mitten im Busch war ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Schöner Pool und Sunsetterasse sind bemerkenswert.

Die Sauberkeit in der Buschküche wäre verbesserungsbedürftig.

Loved the quietness and natural setting of our tents. Beds were comfortable and the fan very welcome. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and lovely to chat to. Arrived to an ice cold drink which was fantastic. Pizzas were very yum - and the surprise dessert delicious !! Loved the viewing platform- a very special location. All in all a great experience- made doubly special as we were the only people there for one night - thanks to floods, cyclones and being very early in the season ! Ooh, and the pool was fantastic . Mosquito control in the kitchen area was great - free ranging geckos by the dozen ! Loved them.

Had to think hard for anything negative- possibly, in the kitchen area, the cutlery was tricky to find (and not much of) - and was abit grimy. But then that's the travellers not washing up properly !!
