Gorge View Bush Retreat : Katherine NT

Great location close to Katherine Gorge. So many birds on the property. Loved the sunset deck and pizzas and swimming pool.

A quirky experience in the bush setting. Watching the sunset next to our tent/bell tent in the bush was lovely. It’s a basic setup with elements of glamping. We had access to camp kitchen, hot showers and running toilets. The bottle of bubbly and couple of sodas on arrival was great. Linen and towels lovely luxury in the bush.

Not a problem, just a little crowded inside due to family set up, double plus 2 singles.

I loved the evening at the camp. the pizza on the deck at sunset was stunning and the camp was lovely at night cooling off and lit up nicely. I would definitely like to return when it is less dry and hot. The host was super friendly and the people staying there were all lovely.

Unfortunately for me it was very hot and dusty around my tent, but it was the end of dry season. My allergies flared due to the dust. I just wasn't expecting so much dust and the cars driving around constantly kicked up the dust during the day. It was 36 to 37degree celcius so too hot for camping with no shade around my tent. 2 toilet and 2 showers for the ladies for the whole camp. Luckily I was the first to shower and my shower was hot with good pressure.

What a great concept, in such a nice location ! Forgot a beloved sweat-shirt there. Staff found it and will send it back to me to France !

Staff should be reachable on WhatsApp, as most foreign visitors do use esims.

Beautiful sunset deck and lovely pool.

The camping/outback experience.

The facilities need improving. 2 showers and 2 toilets was not enough. There needs to be more facilities buildings in different locations so all campers can have easy access. The camp kitchens were well equipped.

チェックイン前に電話をしないと部屋が分からない仕組みで、テレストラの回線を持っていないと宿泊が難しい。 ガスバーナーの火力が弱く、調理場も暗かった。 テント同士の距離が近すぎて、プライベート感が無かった。

Kate and Carney were incredible hosts, warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge. They went above and beyond, even generously giving us a lift to and from our dinner cruise since we couldn’t drive the hire car after sunset, which we were so grateful for. We stayed in the glamping tent (mid-August) and absolutely loved it. The bed was so comfy, and with the perfect night temperatures, we didn’t need the A/C. The shared kitchen was well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the pool was the perfect spot to cool off and relax in the afternoons. A highlight was the sunset pizza, an absolute must if it’s on during your stay! The pizzas were delicious, the views over the valley at sunset were breathtaking, and Kate’s cocktails were the perfect finishing touch. Highly recommend!

Pool was nice, and sunset deck had a gorgeous view. Was welcomed in person with a gift, appreciated it. Fire pits and chairs were nice

The double bed was actually two single mattresses put together (so crease in the middle). And though I appreciate the difficulty to get water in such a remote location, I found the shower/toilet block to be subpar, and not enough for the number of guests - I had to wait for a toilet or a shower every time I went. Kitchen basic.
