Mountain view pod

Lovely pod with stunning view. Had a relaxing night in the hot tub with a fire and steak on the bbq. Ben was also really helpful when I had any questions and let me check in earlier as I was already in the area. The dog and I loved it and will definitely be back.

The Mountview Pod was as described - a small pod with everything fitted in nicely. The view from the decking was nice. Unfortunately, in cannot be described as ‘luxury’ at all.

We have stayed in a number of other pods before and this was not a satisfactory stay - we left after only one night of our two booked. The pod had not been cleaned to a satisfactory standard, there was dust and cobwebs everywhere outside AND inside. The appearance of a place is important and there had been very little effort to clean to a standard we would expect. The shower curtain was mouldy, there were stains on the shoulder of a tired and partially ripped dressing gown and I spent a chunk of the evening dealing with spiders who kept coming out from what seemed to be a nest, in the ropes above the bed. Not pleasant. The shower room was a small wet room, as described, but the shower had so little power that unless you took the shower head off the wall, the sink would be filled with shower water. Not much fun. It would also be helpful to show a photo of the actual shower which is just a shower head above the sink - not like a proper walk in shower. We highlighted the issues to the owner when we left and he informed us that he’d speak to the cleaners and take a look at the shower - I hope that happens. I have never left a negative review before for any accommodation but I can’t avoid doing so on this occasion.

Great facilities and amenities . Beautiful interior and everything we needed for a lovely stay . Beware if tall though as we kept banging our heads 🤕

Cute , with all facilities you needed and to top it off a hot tub too .

The pod was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. We had a fantastic, chilled stay. Can't wait to do it again. Definitely worth the 480mile drive from Cheshire

I am tall and I struggled in the shower, but managed it.

Really wonderful location with a fantastic hot tub. I appreciated being able to do a 1 night stay and to be able to bring my dog along. The grill outside was a great touch as was the outdoor heater. The bed was super comfy and the sheets were clean.

I would have liked to be able to purchase logs for the fire. Luckily I brought my own so was able to use the heater for a full evening.

Ideal peaceful environment and hot tub top it off perfect
