Mountain view pod

Place was outstanding, I took my mum for her birthday as we both needed to relax

Beautiful location and very quiet. , It was a lovely little pod. This was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub and the ninja bbq were great additions.

An addition of a fan would be beneficial in very his weather .

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mount View Pod. It was a short, pleasant walk into Lochinvar. The views were spectacular, with Suilven and the bay visible from the pod. At night, we even saw a few deer right outside. The pod itself was perfectly appointed with everything we needed, and the lovely terrace with a hot tub was a great way to relax and take in the scenery.

Great location, quiet and leafy. Good use of space inside, cosy and well equipped.

The decking was tatty and tired looking (rusty bin for cigarette ends screwed to middle of decking, so in eye-line view from hot tub/seating area when you looked out at view. A couple of floor tiles were cracked too, and the bamboo screen at the sides of the deck looked like it had seen better days. It was a very beige and sad looking). The hot tub was awful. Despite opening all of the jets it was very weak and like sitting in a bath. I could’ve made more bubbles if I’d blown through a straw into the water. It was really disappointing, as after location, the hot tub was the reason we booked. The temperature sat at 35.2 degrees the whole time we were in it on night one (37-40 is optimal) too. The weather was wet, wild and chilly during our stay, despite it being June, so I was actually cold in the hot tub on night one. Day two of our two night stay was forecast to be heavy rain and wind all day and night. With a properly functioning hot tub and nice covered decking that wouldn’t have been an issue. With this decking and hot tub it absolutely would’ve been, as we’d have to have spent our time at the pod cooped up inside, which would have been cramped. We knew the inside was small and that wasn’t an issue. The outside was. We expected a well maintained covered outdoor space with a fully functional hot tub. It’s not what we got and we wasted/lost £150 by leaving a night early. So, all in all despite being really excited about this break, it was disappointing and we wouldn’t book again.
