Vista Caravan Hire

It had everything we needed. Loved the Wrap around lockable balcony for the dog and all the storage and fresh towels.

We were there during a Kent water shortage which wasn’t ideal and they closed the park facilities for our first 48 hours - not the owners fault bit far from ideal. I think it would benefit from a second bin in the bathroom and an airer and pegs- there is a hair dryer which I don’t think is listed. I couldn’t find a fan which was.

Gill met us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. Caravan was lovely and had everything we needed. There is lots of storage and the main bedroom has a great layout. The beds were comfortable and it was lovely to sit out on the deck in the sunshine. We were really lucky with the weather. There are also hooks for towels and coats, which many don't have. The shower was a bit hot but Gill and her husband took a look and it may have been that the previous occupants turned the water temp up on the boiler. So fixed quickly. We love the walk into Whitstable along the beach. Plus the caravan is only 15 minutes walk away from the locals we were visiting. Whitstable is very dog friendly too, so he loved the beach and we were able to take him in many shops and pubs.

Nothing it was perfect. We will definitely book again.

How close it was to club house

Uncomfortable bed and sitting area shower screen was dirty morrow had tooth paste all up them cobwebs every were got woken up in the day by owner to say they was changing a bottle as caravan owners our self we wouldn’t of done that some one knows when there changing a gas bottle

Everything you'd need was provided, very clean, and the host made us feel very welcome and available if needed. Would definitely go back again..

The caravan is exactly as described and it is much bigger than it looks for the living area. The decor was cute and it was immaculate inside. It had everything you could need for a short stay. In the corner there is an array of children books and activities/toys. The kids loved having a DVD player and heaps of Disney movies to choose from (they didn't even know what a DVD is!) We were there for 5nts and there is a very easy wash room to use for the laundry. There is a gorgeous pub just opposite the holiday park which is handy. The onsite facilities were amazing with kids- the pool was heated even though it was summer and the playground is 20secs walk from the caravan -you can see it from the deck so if you have older kids they can go and play but you can still keep an eye on them. The host was super friendly and come by to make sure everything was ok. We would 100% stay here again.

This is absolutely no reflection on the host or the caravan (just FYI really) but adults really cannot use the twin- the beds are small and are designed for children. I used the double pull out sofa bed in the end in the living room to sleep on and it was much better (my 5yr old wouldn't sleep alone in the twin). The holiday park is noisy at night with kids and entertainment from the bistro (which again I don't mind but just FYI) so if you are here in peak summer season a simple pair of ear plugs will help with that.
