The owners are so friendly the showers and toilets checked everyday honestly lovely and pet friendly perfect for what we wanted and views were incredible will defiantly return

Amazing views , simple amenities as advertised, but it was like the stepping stone between camping and wild camping as you still have portaloos, a shower and fresh water so brilliant for people who want to get away from it all be on a field rough it a bit and be with other like minded people and just escape the world at a reasonable price.

Nothing we didn't like

Tracey was lovely and welcomed us as we were setting up . So many walks definitely recommend Louis tea rooms, kit hill and the area of 'minons' about a 20minute drive great walks and a quarry with turquoise lake. The views at campsite are amazing and the field had cut grass which made it easy to camp. Shower was nice and hot/powerful, although it appears to be in a shed, it's very clean and works very well. Several Toilets they are portaloos and they were all very clean and in service Communal camp fire is available that we opted not to use as we were shattered after each day of hiking
