Neecee’s Retreat

Caravan is very clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a great family get away, located a short walk from the main entertainment centre on site, provided complimentary tea, coffee and sugar and left some soft drinks and Maltesers in the fridge which was a nice welcome surprise after 2hrs 45min drive, we are already planning to come back next year.

Location is wonderful, easy to get to and great for adventures around Lincolnshire. If you like military jets you're in luck too, it's only around a 10 minute walk to the viewing area at the end of RAF Conningsby runway, and the Battle of Britain museum. This is the current typhoon squadron base so constant activity all day (sometimes nights too) Also 5 min walk to Tattershall Castle. Around a 30 min drive to RAF Waddington where the Red Arrows call home. Facilities on site are well maintained with watersports and fishing available. Caravan was very clean and well presented, hist communication was very helpful.

The entertainment passes for the site are quite expensive, appreciate our visit was in August, but even after paying the £200 for 1 adult and 2 children for 5 days, most of the things we wanted to do had additional charges. Thankfully there was plenty else to do and see in the area.

Nothing to not like

Neecees retreat met more than our expectations. Beautiful location with an excellent view of the castle. Attentive host with high cleanliness standards in the holiday home, attention to detail. Responsive host for communication and advise of where to explore around the area. Welcome pack was such a nice touch thank you Denise we will definitely be coming back again.

Very clean and tidy. Situated in a lovely quiet section with a clear view of the castle. We liked that bunnies and geese were roaming freely. Restaurants on site do cater for dietary requirements.

Free internet only valid for 24 hours then you have to pay for it. Check out at 10:00/10:30 would be better. Passes expensive as worked out at £80 for the 2 of us for 4 days just to access the restaurants etc with one of them only accepting pre-bookings. All activities need to be pre-booked and paid for separately so you are just paying for access. Just to advise if traveling down at the beginning of the week…we found pubs and restaurants locally are closed on a Monday and Tuesday some even on a Wednesday and if pubs are open don’t serve food on these days. Also many close after lunch then open for dinner as standard.

Neecee's retreat was in a lovely quite part of the site. The caravan was spotlessly clean, all facilities were in good order. Denise was very quick to respond to any queries really helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to this beautiful area.

There was nothing to dislike. I had no issues with anything.

super clean, dvds, board games, they had thought of everything. There were even a couple of cans of drink and some Maltesers waiting for us on arrival. a very short walk to Tattershall castle and into Tattershall or Coningsby via the path , no need to head out via the complex entrance.
