The surroundings were gorgeous and the pods very cosy, having everything you need ! Spacious kitchen and lots of supplies. A perfect stay in the beautiful countryside, surrounded by nature with deer all around! Thoroughly enjoyed getting away from the city and enjoying the quieter life at the pods. We didn’t have a car but it wasn’t an issue for us, we enjoyed Laragh and Glendalough by foot and the surrounding walks were perfect for us. Patrick is an exceptional host and we would love to come back !

There was nothing we didn’t like! It was all idyllic and we didn’t want to leave.

Room and cabin is absolutely gorgeous and very charming. Feels like you’re in North America. They provide tea, coffee and mugs so you can sit outside on the patio in the morning surrounded by wildlife and a morning chill. Great for stargazing too. I found myself appreciating how thoughtful the experience was a lot. Based off of the advertised photos, my expectations weren’t too high but when I got there my partner and I were pleasantly surprised and quickly fell in love with the place. Lovely restaurant, pub and shop down the road and of course the Wicklow mountains. Delighted with choosing this.

People tend to hog the bathroom just outside the cabins but the bathrooms at the entrance are always free.

We liked the fact we could use the kitchen to prepare meals and had our own dishes to us. Very clean spaces. The sleeping accommodations were nice.

For the number of people/pods that could be full, it was an insufficient number of bathrooms. Also walking a distance like that to use the bathroom or a shower was too far. They should incorporate at least one more bath house with toilets and showers. I’m used to more primitive camping and campgrounds and even they have more pit toilets per person ratio.
