Dog and Duck Leisure Park

Love the place, used to have a caravan in the 70s here...come back to reminisce..the rooms spotlessly clean, easy to access room keys. Lots of walks and pub great for drink and food, very friendly.

There was one thing..... the mattress in 2 of the rooms. Room 1 mattress was firm on the left hand side but had a dip in the right hand side. Couldn't sleep straight as it sloped. Room 2 the mattress was so uncomfortable the person woke up with a bad back, for the rest of the day.....please change them....your rooms are for a good night's sleep, but this wasn't the case....such a shame as everything else was perfect. A small cost but a 100% review......Clean, tidy, shower pressure great, tv, wifi, tea & coffee.

Location, ample parking

The rude cleaner and the caravan being dirty on arrival and no response from management. Blood stained sheets, food left on cutlery, dust and dirt behind radiators in bathrooms. Tired bobbled bedding in double room, cobwebs behind blinds in the bathrooms, crumbs on dining table and sides in the kitchen. On arrival office was closed and called out of hours and still waiting for a call back 4 days later. Lady in the office Friday helped slightly by sending a clean bed sheet. She asked me to send photos of the dirt which I did then the cleaner came to visit. She was rude and basically told me I’ve put the dirt there, making a fuss over nothing and being fussy over the cleanliness. She apologised for the blood stained sheets as she didn’t check/change the bedding in the twin room as it was only a couple who stayed there the week before so how long has that bedding been left on collecting dust? We had a child with us and had to swap beds as her bed was the blood stained sheet bed! I’ve requested to speak to a manger and no reply and since being home I have emailed again today asking for a response. The park its self is nice quiet and has a nice park for the kids. I don’t normally do reviews but feel that the communication was poor and non responsive. The cleaner is what topped off the end of our stay because of how rude she was and after asking to speak to a manger and no reply.

Location as easy drive to places I visited with my nephew.

Prima huisje, leuk speeltuintje voor de kids. Bonus dat er een pub op het terrein zit. Prima uitvalsbasis voor uitjes naar Dover, Deal, Margate etc.
