Colorful Hut

Our favourite place we stayed in Thailand. Such a gorgeous location and the breakfast/food was amazing. Would love to come back here one day. The staff were so kind as it was my birthday, they made me and my friends feel very treated. Thank you!

Location, views, atmosphere, all just amazing. But the staff were the icing on the cake for me, such lovely, helpful, welcoming people, I can’t say enough for them. Restored my faith in humanity type vibes.

Bed was uncomfortable, there are dogs in premise all the time with good behavior but some visitors may have fear of dogs, there are no kayak rentals despite both neighbor hostels offering kayaking

Everything was great

The receptionist was friendly on arrival.

We checked out within five minutes of seeing the room. The hut, while as described, was in extremely poor condition — outdated, run-down, and with an uncomfortably hard bed. There is no pool (which we had overlooked, but is worth flagging). The beach is dirty and clearly not maintained, making it unusable for relaxing. The breakfast menu, which we reviewed upon arrival, looked very limited. When we raised our concerns and requested a partial refund for the prepaid nights, the hotel initially offered a conditional arrangement — compensation only if they managed to rebook the room. Follow-up communication was slow and unclear. The matter was eventually resolved, but it required considerable effort. Update 13/May: revised review after hotel offered partial compensation.
