La Playa Estrella Beach Resort

The property is conveniently located near attractions like Ogtong Cave and the Ruins, as well as scenic spots such as the mangrove and Coconut Road. They also have a playground for kids, which is a nice addition. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a peaceful stay just a short distance away from the busy areas of Sta. Fe. There’s also an on-site restaurant and bar, making it easy to order food anytime. Just to note though, there’s no complimentary breakfast, and they charge corkage for outside food and drinks, even for light snacks. Also, no complimentary bottled water, but you can head to their restaurant and ask for some drinking water. Friendly staff.

The shower had rust, there was no TV, and one room had a strong smell of insect spray, which felt unsafe to inhale. The spray was also left inside the room by the mirror. It was very hot and sunny when we arrived, and we were hoping to rest right away, but those in that room had to air it out first. Sliding doors were hard to operate, locking them was tricky, and towels were only provided after we checked in. The soap had a small tear in the packaging and was already wet underneath, and the cup in the bathroom was also wet—possibly from cleaning, but not sure if it had been replaced.

For a first timer in the island, my expectations were matched. Place was beautiful. Location wise it's ok. Staffs are friendly.

Just the food.... I mean food in the rest was okay. The only thing is that, there is a cutoff time to order at night. It's hard to get something to eat specially you can't bring outside food inside the resort.

The location was close to the airport which was where I wanted to go, also the rooms are big and spacious and the staff are so helpful

No pool

The location was great! A cheap ferry ride from Hagnaya, a short drive from the port to the hotel. The beach is amazing! My kids loved playing in the sand and my husband and I loved watching the sunsets from the water. The snorkeling was great too! Lots of fish and other wildlife. The hotel staff were so sweet and kind! Food at the restaurant was great too.

The mattresses could be a little thicker, but honestly, it wasn’t bad at all!

Superbe plage. D’ailleurs sur toute la plage, c’est l’Estrella qui a le meilleur spot. Resto très bon et pas très cher. Personnel adorable mais comme dans beaucoup d’endroits aux Philippines
