Luxury Shepherds Hut - The Moorhen by the lake

The property, was in a lovely area. The hut was perfect and clean. This was mine and my partners first holiday, we went for new year and has an amazing time.

Everything was perfect

I have stayed in several pods, hobbit holes etc over the years but this was on another level, immaculate, high spec and fantastic location, it was ideal for a visit to York, the owners are very attentive and present and can’t do enough for you, I will be back soon without any doubt, we absolutely loved it

Very cosy and quiet location. Peaceful and not to far away from York. We enjoyed going out for days out and coming back. The carry cart to our hut was a lovely touch too. The owners was lovely and very friendly. We can’t wait to book in the future again.

Nothing everything was great. Maybe a wall lamp could be placed above the bed but that’s all. Thank you

Very cosy and quiet, the park/lake is well maintained and amazing to wake up to in the morning with a nice view! Staff are very friendly and the location is perfect.

Best place we’ve stayed at would highly recommend, views are stunning, hosts are really friendly can’t do enough for you , peaceful get away will be booking again
