Malabar Beach Walk

Garden helped me to survive there, with palmyra and coconut trees, I really love them.

Room comfort must be improved that provides definitely a better stay. With the present condition would not recommend furter..

cute spacious cabana with fridge and kitchen, surrounded by a big palm garden. Calm and away from everything, though only 10 minutes to town on motorbike. Short walk to the beach/lagoon with very shallow warm water to enjoy a “bathtub”

An authentic Sri Lankan-style option. Secluded. Shaded garden with Palmyra palms and ferns. Mongooses and squirrels. This choice may suit the younger traveller seeking a peaceful stay. Host Adhi and his wife are charming and considerate.

We liked the place but you do need your own transportation to get there. The accommodation has its own kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 beds. We got dinner from the neighbor twice and it was beyond delicious!! The walk to the beach is short. The owners are super friendly and caring, it was a pleasure to stay here. Hopefully we see you again :) thank you

Malabar Beach Walk is the perfect home from home to enjoy your holidays exploring Jaffna and the surrounding area. You will have the peace and tranquillity of a spacious private villa all to yourself, with beautiful palm tree lined garden, hammock, outdoor terrace area and only a 5 min walk to a shallow beach for a little swim or to watch the sunset. The villa is in a countryside location, so you can really get away from the world if you wish. However perhaps useful to have your own transport if you do wish to visit the surrounding area. The villa comes with a kitchen (including cookware, dining items, cutlery, a kettle, a paraffin stove, and fridge freezer if you want to cook and store provisions. The villa also has a western style toilet ensuite to the bedroom, a separate Asian style toilet, an indoor shower room, and also an outdoor shower. Delicious regional style meals can be provided by the kind a friendly family living in the property next door upon request. The very polite young man Bobbu that brings the food speaks very good English. The property has good wifi provided free of charge. The wonderfully kind and friendly owners Adhi and Karthiga are great hosts and remain available via WhatsApp to attend to your every need. They are delighted to drop by to the villa at the time you arrange to offer local advice and bring you things you may need. They also kindly offer to bring you some local delicacies to try if you want (toddy, ice apples etc). Adhi and Karthiga speak very good English and are truly wonderful people to meet. The main bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. Both beds have mosquito nets and two fans are provided. There seems to be an additional separate bedroom if you need it, however as we were only two people this wasn’t required for our stay. The villa is in the countryside, as such you may meet a few cute little frogs in the bathroom who are sheltering there from the heat of the day.

Great place to stay! This place is kind a farm house. Nice and silent place. Bathroom and kitchen attached with room. Nice kammock available between Palmyra trees. Beach is situated in walking distance. Noted there is no shops nearby the property and need to bring things with us. If we need food owner will arrange Jaffna style food. Very friendly owners 😊

The room was very clean and comfortable. Various food and tasty, Place is so quite and peaceful. Awesome place for escaping from the crowd of the city. I really appreciated.
