"Personally I think it doesn’t worth the effort and time to get there."

5.0

The place is quite, the rooms are comfortable and there is a nice nature surrounding. Also my kids liked the swimming pool

It is isolated and difficult to get there. That wouldn’t be a problem if you found a nice place. On the other hand the beach isn’t good at all. The condition of the water is very poor and there are rocks. You cannot swim there. Except that, the place has nothing to offer you but the silence. The only place you can eat is the restaurant of the hotel which is not a good one.

"Very good"

8.0

A piecefull a bit old but very sweet place right in front of phuket. The only functional hotel on koh loon. The structure itself would need a bit of maintenance but it’s charming (garden is beautiful) and the location is amazing. Stuff is very nice. A place to rest and relax.

The sea water is not so clean, it’s on the Chalong bay and gets the dirt from the harbour. Especially because of this it would be nice if the swimming pools were cleaner and better maintained. Also it would be nice to have some connection to the rest of the island, a boat that takes you to the beach on the other side of the island for example.

"This hotel is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle from Phuket mainland."

9.0

This hotel is not a five star luxury resort but it is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle from Phuket mainland. We had a beachfront deluxe suite which was a dream! We walked straight on to the beach and enjoyed the views from our room, there was access to kayaks, snorkels and beach beds. We were grateful to read the reviews beforehand so we were aware of a cost for the longboat to the resort (600 Baht pp for a return trip), the cost of the food (300 Baht for a meal) and no access to amenities or the beach bar on the other side of the island. There is a 7/11 at Chalong Bay Pier so go prepared with snacks and drinks that you can fill in your fridge and enjoy the fact that you have an island to yourselves!

"Superb"

9.0

Despite a very late arrival, the staff was very comprehensive and helpfull and manage to spend us a long tail boat to get to the hotel. They have been very nice all along our stay. We very much like to fact that the island is isolated from Phuket's buz. It is a beautiful island and we wished we had stay 1 additional day.

"Potential, potential, potential"

6.0

Location was amazing, such potential. Breakfast…Banana pancakes, if you were lucky to get one, were outstanding. Nice mini croissants. Beach was great, lovely to swim in, I had reef shoes which you need. Jungle surroundings. Strong Myanmar boys that carried your bags over the sand to your accommodation. Comfy bed and pillows.

My shower trap hadn’t been cleaned of the previous occupants hair, shelves dusty. A big water dispenser in each room would save on the 100’s of mini water bottles this place must go through daily. This place is an untapped goldmine, a closed shop that could be selling crisps, drinks, ice cream, water toys, coffee, milk, calpol, sanitary wear, nappies, etc etc. there is a captive audience. To buy anything, you would have to go back to the mainland at a cost of 600bhat round trip per person to get anything you need. Chronically understaffed, hence slow service in restaurant, we read other people’s reports and brought loads of food and drinks. The staff tried their best but seemed sad. 1 domestic 2 slice toaster at breakfast, empty plates on stands that you had to point out that they were empty to get them refilled. Omelette was available, 1 red jelly and a jar of peanut butter with a knife congealed in it. A secret diner from their head office needs to go for a stay or Alex Polizzi, such wasted potential. I honestly thought it was their last season before they closed.
