Honestly it was so phenomenal that it is hard to describe. Everything is beautifully thought out, from the beautiful design of the buildings to the gorgeous handtowels and all with sustainability in mind. And you are in the middle of the jungle, wandering across bamboo bridges and stairs to visit the breakfast restaurant (both restaurants and the bar have excellent food and drinks, lots of vegetarian and healthy options also suitable for kids) down the river next to the amazing natural pools. We had a old javan house upstairs that overlooked the rice fields next to it. The pictures don’t do the place justice. And staff is wonderful (Devi, Meri, Indra, honestly everyone) and great with kids. They really made our stay incredible.

We really enjoyed the zone by the river, nice paths to walk around hotel. Interesting place, design and concept are unique but 5 nights was too much for us.

Restaurant has very specific food - for kids was any more classic versions. In the villa was without any privacy - hotel staff and guest was walking all the time thru our terrace which was completely open. Very far from the town - needs to drive all the time. While the hotel's restaurants has specific food - we were all the time driving somewhere. Villa design was really special and lovely but we got tired of feeling that we sleep in somebody's barn. It was too basic for us. 1-2 night most need to stay.
