Ft. Wilderness RV Park and Campground

Awesome place!!! Clean and quite!!! Our cabin is perfect!!! It's a hidden wonderful place!! Rates are very affordable. The staff are very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. Just all around awesome place to stay!!!

Shower house was alright. Pretty basic place.

My cabin didn't have power and the floor was pretty dirty. It would have been nice to atleast have power.

The first place we were sent to was hardly livable for a dog. It was a shed supposedly made livable . No sheets or anything, no heat, no tv, no toilet paper,not clean. We complained and she moved us to a bigger cabin, which was some better, at least had heat, was reasonably clean, except the oven was filthy inside and upkeep of the whole small cabin was not in good shape. Still no sheets towel etc. we missed that there were no linens provided on the check in email, and she said for extra $25 they would provide. The condition of the entire campground was substandard and not well unkept. We decided to try to go find some linens to buy, but that was a bust, so we just cancelled the reservation and figured we would suffer the fee, and found a real hotel to stay at. Later Booking.com did get us a full refund that we really appreciated.

I really liked the privacy of the cabin. The staff were polite and very helpful.

I specifically booked the cabin that included a fireplace, but when I arrived I was told that it was unavailable. I wish I had known before I got there that I wasn't going to be able to have the cabin with the fireplace.

Easy to find. Close to several cities in the area. For a campground cabin- it was nice. Shower was nice. Lots of hot water.

When we arrived the cabin wasn’t ready. We were given another cabin, but that caused another family to have a stressful arrival because they gave us their cabin. (Campground owner tried to lie or was too drunk to remember why we weren’t in our original cabin) I would have rather just been given a refund than stress out a family with kids. The residents that live at the campground are loud. Loud music, loud yelling, loud swearing. It was quiet after 10, but definitely not a family friendly place in my opinion. TV not great. WiFi doesn’t work well at all. AT&t has great service though. The mattress was covered in plastic— for good reason- at least the plastic was clean
