Ft. Wilderness RV Park and Campground

Our cabin was double booked although we had reserved it and even emailed the facility afterwards. We got there and had no where to stay. We were offered a camper with no furniture or cooking facilities that smelled bad and had no curtains even. Or a cabin that had no shower. It had access to a "bath house" which I had emailed about and that is why I upgraded. I'm handicap and with the temps I could not go back and forth after showering.

Die Ausstattung war besser als angekündigt, mit Bettwäsche & sogar Heizung? Alles rudimentär, aber für eine Nacht sehr gut!

Cozy and inexpensive

It was not at all what we expected , I mean they had a shed that they put a bed and a toilet in , there was no t.v. We usually stay at KOA when we travel to that area , but we thought we would give this place a try . I most definitely would not recommend it to anyone else ever !!!!

Could not have been worse , we stayed 1 night even though we paid for 2 nights , I would like a refund for 1 night but I’m not expecting it !,,

It was very quiet, not far from stores, the people we did meet were very nice.

The bottom step of our cabin wasn’t screwed in at all so was a bit of a falling risk, and the coffee pot in the room was filled with mold.

The mountains

This is a RV park with campground and cottages. People staying there are super nice and helpful. I tried to connect with the property manager the day I arrived via phone (sent a text too) and on the way out by going to the office which were unsuccessful, no response to the text either.

The following is how the cottage I stayed is advertised, which I looked up from my mobile as my travel plans changed couple of hours before I checked in to this place. “The air conditioned bungalow includes a flat-Screen TV with cable channels a private bathroom as well as an outdoor dining area. The unit offers 2 beds. “ This is the most BS and cunning description I ever experienced related lodging. It was chicken coop with a bed, microwave, mini fridge and a commode. There were no Cable or a TV or linen for the bed. I later got an text, which I did not see asking me to bring in bedsheets and Pillows, seriously, even I saw the message early enough, how could a traveler bring all that. I found today they have mentioned that linen and pillow required to bring in under separate section (not on the listing). Surrounding of this “air conditioned bungalow” has not been cleaned for weeks and has to go to a common bathhouse for shower. I paid the price of a motel room for this place as I fell into the description and I was in hurry.
