ZAI spent 11 nights at Vlaakieskraal Bush House (23 Dec 2022 - 3 Jan 2023) with my wife and 2 sons. We had an amazing experience at the property. Roelien, Renier and Christian, as well as the rest of their family and staff made us feel welcome. The hosts paid us particular attention and communicated exceptionally well. We enjoyed the guided tour of the farm, including the interaction with the donkeys and goats (feeding them apples and Marula fruits, respectively), the outdoor shower, the Smart TV, the pool, the sighting of animals from the comfort of the living area, and the conversations with Roelien, Renier and Christian. We went back to Johannesburg recharged! We will definitely return. We strongly recommend this property to fellow travellers. Roelien, Renier and Christian are definitely the epitomes of super-hosts. We had no regrets. The facilities and staff provided us with an experience that exceeded our expectations. We simply suggest the inclusion of a washing machine for the convenience of guests staying a week or longer than that.
