Very friendly and charming host. The SBahn station is only about 13 min walk, or you can ride 2 stops with the bus (the bus stop is only a minute away).

Watch out! No wifi and no kitchen! There's only a bathroom for to be shared with the entire house, which can get a bit busy.

Kein Frühstück, Toilette und Dusche übern Flur

I got an amazing cozy small room in the highest floor (under the roof). Basically everything you need to crash for one night. The Troisdorf station is 8 min walk. The bed is comfortable. A towel is provided. A bathroom is very clean. The staff is very friendly, can be contacted per phone. They explained me how to get the key, so I could check in myself.

Of course, you have a shared bathroom, it gives certain restrictions as you cannot use it when other people are there. Note that there is a church near the place, so you will hear the bells starting 8 am. But I also have a church near my home, so I'm used to it.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung, kleines Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad,nur ca.10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof. Ruhig in einer Seitenstraße gelegen.

Mit geringem Aufwand könnte das Bad angenehmer gemacht werden (leichte Stockflecken).

Nothing, it a a scam

It’s a scam. A cheap hotel, close to the airport. Why would people use it? Because they have a late flight and the transports are not available. You do the reservation and right to the host to say you ll arrive late. He answers something vague, in German. You ask again and you receive a call -this time in good English- to tell you you won’t get a refund, it s your fault if you didn’t read the conditions of the house before. Thing is: I just made a reservation 5 minutes ago. So, if I don’t get a refund when asking kindly to make a late check out, it means that the hotel manager is not honest.
