The Pine Lodge

We made use of the pool and hot tub while we were there. The view was nice. It is a nice, quiet location not far from the town. The lodge we stayed in was spacious (Lodge no. 14).

We were moved from the Pine Lodge to Lodge 14, which I think was a lower spec but we were not offered any money back. The Lodge was spacious but a bit run down (shower screen broken, burners not working on the hob, no WIFI). The TV on the wall looked like it was about to fall off, which was a bit worrying, we didn't sit on the sofa directly underneath it just in case. Staff were not responsive to my answerphone message on the first day, and on one of the days there was a bunch of contractors staying in one of the cottages who had loud music blaring out all day.

The children had a swimming pool to use and and the lodge was a good size.

It was dirty, and the shower didn't drain. But the beds where clean.

Really good location and the kids loved the outdoor pool!

On the pictures it shows a bunkbed. We have 5 kids and booked it because all the kids would have individual beds to sleep in however the bunkbed is now a double bed which caused a lot of arguments between the children.

We didn’t end up staying in Pine Lodge but offered an alternative on site. The property that we stayed in was ok but could do with a lick of paint and a new bed in one of the rooms. Beautiful views and very helpful staff.

Could have been a little cleaner & the beds needed to be updated.
