G17 The Chase , Ingoldmells, Skegness

Lovely clean caravan and super cosy! Had the best sleep I’ve had in a while. Owner really helpful, neighbours helpful. Parking right near caravan. We loved it! So close to fantasy island and local amenities but far enough away to be peaceful. Even the cleaner was lovely.

Everything provided and more lovely caravan

The lounge, kitchen and dining area were acceptable and the location good. The shower room was excellent altho' there was no mirror.

A bit confusing as we had read that we needed to take bed linen but on arrival the beds were made up. It is the first time we have stayed anywhere that the bottom bed sheets had not been ironed so they looked quite untidy and rightly or wrongly it gave the impression that the beds had already been slept in and the linen not changed. Because this was on my mind I didn't sleep at all well. Also with no blackout curtains/linings, the bedrooms were very light from an early hour. Only there for one night though.

Property looked nice & cosy on arrival. Clean and tidy. Plenty plates, cups, glasses etc.

I had 3 children with me under 11. None of the dvd machines worked and as there was no Wi-Fi this was a problem. The gas fire wouldn’t switch on. The first night we had no gas so none of us could get a shower, cook or wash up! Phoned the owner but nothing she could do until the following morning. Gas men arrived next morning and said both cylinders had run out which is why we couldn’t switch it on!! I asked the owner Sharon if we could get a discount off the price for the inconvenience and she chose to ignore my message, when previously she had been quite active on the message updates!!
