Landsborough Holiday Park

Perfect for an overnight stay close to Australia zoo. Less than a 10min walk from the train station and a supermarket and pub. Clean and comfortable with local TV stations and a lovely little balcony. Staff were really helpful and friendly and were happy to hold our luggage in the reception!

The lodge had everything I needed, very clean and comfortable. Free courtesy bus to the zoo. Walking distance to the train station, supermarket and local cafe & pub. Lots of wildlife around the place. Nice little swimming pool.

There was a nice view from the verandah but the bedroom window faced the parking area. The local pub was not very friendly which was a shame.

The cabin we stayed in was spacious, very clean and came with all of the amenities we could need. We had a small 2 burner stove top (I wish I knew before!) a microwave and a full size fridge. We were provided pots and pans, sharp knives for cutting, a strainer, mixing bowl, peeler, tongs, cups, glasses, a toaster and kettle, and generously given some tea and coffee which were very appreciated! The staff were extremely kind and understanding of my mix up when booking and were happy to help however they could.

The only negative (and I really had to think hard to find one) was the gravel between the cabins isn’t very suitcase friendly. With a family of 5 we had plenty of luggage. Apart from that super minor inconvenience, the entire stay was beautiful and welcoming.

Very close to Australia Zoo Free pick up to the zoo and dropped back at end of day.
