The house is very cute with wonderful view and nice for its size bathroom. Nice terrace and barbecue ares, plus gorgeous garden with sun beds.

Hundreds of millipedes made our stay terrible and made us run away disgusted. They look like worms, but with multiple legs, which makes them very fast and coming out from everywhere. This place should use disinsection before to let people in.

The location of the accommodation is amazing, just as in the pictures. Waking up and drinking your morning coffee looking at the dramatic cliffs and the sea is something truly special. The BBQ spot in between the two houses also makes it a very good option for those traveling with two couples (like us). The owners are very responsive over WhatsApp.

For the high price, certain amenities could have been better. The lamps in the dining/BBQ spot did not work, there were no (small) trashcans in the apartments, the blankets were a bit small for two people and the parking spot is not reserved for the house. We came back one night to find there was no spot and had to climb the very steep hill on foot. Sadly, the jacuzzi did not work and could not be repaired in time.

The view here is amazing. Such a beautiful location! The pod is very well equipped with everything you need to cook a few simple meals, pots, pans, utensils, chopping board, sharp knives, corkscrew etc we cooked eggs, bacon, fish and roasted some bits in the oven and boiled water for tea (no kettle) It is an induction hob, so has a lock function and also a good extraction hood. The gardens and lawn area are beautiful, there was a gardener pottering about on our first day. We bought a bag of wood for the hot tub (you will need firelighters, there were some left over that we used but worth bearing in mind) and invested a lot of time heating it, at the last few logs left the water was soooo hot! Almost too hot. So it definitely works just takes several hours. But so lovely and peaceful just being at the property. There is a new blue tiny house on the same land, just next door to the pods so we had some neighbours but we didn't hear them at all. The area feels very safe as there is a well lit walking path just behind the pods, which has lighting at night. This does mean you can't achieve total darkness for stargazing though, if that was something you wanted. Take plenty of drinking water and wine and enjoy!

The outside furniture is all quite tired and no cushions/pads for chairs and loungers.

The location was fantastic, amazing views of mountains and sea, such a beautiful spot. Cabin was very cosy and well kitted out with utensils. The communal BBQ area was well sheltered and would have been a good spot to eat if the weather was better! Communication was good with the owner and his restuarant down in Paul Do Mar was great with very tasty, Brazilian inspired food. Was lovely to meet him and say hi.

A duvet would be a nice addition as only sheets and blankets provided.

The view from the balcony of the tiny black bird down to Paul do Mar is fantastic. All you need is a cup of good coffee (espresso can is available). When it gets chilly in the winter, there is a small electric heater. You can also buy wood from Celina and heat up the hot tub for some extra quality time (takes ca. 1.5 h). When you enjoyed the silence and want to have a vibrant place with lovely food, Maktub from the owner Fabio is a perfect choice. We enjoyed it a lot.

Stunning view and very comfortable bed. Attention to details. I recommend trying the owner’s restaurant Maktub about 15min drive away!

The view is amazing and great feeling to disconnect! Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken due to unforseen circumstances (in process to be fixed), but Fabio and Celina were wonderful hosts and provided us with a lovely voucher to dine at Maktub Pub in Paul Do Mar. Furthermore, we could use vegetables and fruits from the garden to cook delicious meals.
