If you are planning a trip to Erg Chegaga and want absolute peace of mind - this is the place to stay. We are traveling around Morocco by car and had a stressful situation in Zagora: at 21:00 our hotel suddenly informed us they were fully booked for the following nights. We needed to go to the desert the next morning and didn’t know what to do. I opened Booking, started searching, and found this place. In one of the reviews someone mentioned that the owner had organized a private 4x4 trip to Chegaga for 95 € per person. That gave me confidence. I booked immediately and contacted Mohsin on WhatsApp. From the first message, he was calm, clear, and reassuring. Everything was explained properly, no pressure, no confusion - just honest communication. The next morning we left Zagora at 8:00, arrived in Mhamid around 10:30, left our car safely in the courtyard, changed clothes, and headed straight to the desert. The excursion was simply unforgettable. The vast dunes of Chegaga are something you cannot describe in photos. The silence, the wind, the golden sand at sunset - it feels unreal. Everything was exactly as agreed. No surprises, no hidden costs, no “alternative dunes”. Just professionalism and kindness. What makes this place special is not only the organization - it’s the people. Mohsin and his brother are genuinely warm, welcoming, and proud of what they do. You don’t feel like a customer. You feel like a guest. The accommodation is very fairly priced, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent - exactly what we needed before a long day in the desert. And the best part: the sand already surrounds the property. You wake up and you are already in the atmosphere of the Sahara. Travel is about moments, not just locations. Staying here was one of those moments we will truly remember. Highly recommended.

What didn’t we like? Honestly - nothing. Everything was perfect. Everything you see in the photos is exactly how it is in real life - no surprises. But what makes the real difference is the human attitude. Warm, honest and genuinely welcoming. Everything was great. Thank you again for everything!

A very nice camp located next to sand dunes which gave it an extra layer of authenticity. The owner was also very attentive to the needs of his guests.

Das Frühstück war gut, freundlicher Empfang und konnten das Auto für eine Tour gratis parkieren. Die Tour mit Youssef war sehr angenehm und er hat uns alle Fragen beantwortet.

Anstelle einer Türe gibt es nur einen Vorhang zum Bad...

Direkt an den Dünen angrenzend, liegt diese traumhafte Unterkunft. Der morgendliche Blick auf die Sanddünen und Palmen beim Sonnenaufgang- unbezahlbar! Moshin bot uns einen privaten Tagestrip für 95€ in die Erg Chigaga an, auf der wir viele wilde Tiere beobachten konnten, sehr gut in einer Oase gegessen haben und fast ganz alleine waren! Kein Massentourismus! Ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Leider konnte der Fahrer nur französisch - aber er war sehr nett! Wir wären gerne länger geblieben :)
