Nothing. The property was very clear about what to expect.

fantastic handy location especially for driving to Milford Sound multiple times. Surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery in a cosy self sufficient cabin. Crisp cool air coming off the tranquil mountains in the middle of summer was awesome.

The staff especially Isla were always helpful. They dealt with a small query really well and communicated with us what was happening. Ideal location for travelling to Milford Sound in the morning.

It isn't the Ritz, I.e. it doesn't have a pool, spa etc. But is all the better for it. A very real place to stay, felt connected to the surroundings.

Could not have asked for a better location right in the middle of the national park. Halfway between Te Anau and Milford sound was the perfect location for access to the boat tour as well as as many beautiful hikes. Facilities are rustic, but exactly what we were looking for everything we needed was available in our cozy cabin.
