Eglinton Valley Camp

I liked that it was closer to Milford Sound and we didn't have to drive as far that morning. It was a nice cabin and we were able to make meals. I loved that they had screens in the windows so we could leave them open to cool it down. It was pretty quiet and not overrun with people. They had hot water bottles to put in your bed if you wanted. I loved that!

Our neighbors were smoking outside and the smoke drifted into our cabin which was annoying, but not the fault of the camp I guess. The beds were medium comfortable. One was pretty soft, the other pretty hard. There was no hairdryer to use which wasn't a deal breaker, it just would have been nice.

Closer to Milford Sound than Te Anau for an early start before the traffic and crowds. So peaceful and stars at night were brilliant. Basic kitchen, limited electrics (no microwave, hairdryer etc but we knew that) bring all food (BBQ available) but clean and comfortable

It was all as described and expected so we enjoyed our stay

Great location to explore Fiordland National Park. Good Wifi. Great kitchen set up
