This was our first time on Koh Chang and we were looking for somewhere that was away from the busy resorts but close enough for walking to bars and beaches . Lazy Republique was ideal ! The rooms were practical and for 14days gave us everything we needed. The owners Pilou and Fred were exceptional hosts giving us many restaurant/ tour recommendations. Fred’s breakfasts were fabulous especially the home made treats that were offered several mornings whilst we were there. Also, leaving the best till last Pilous cocktails were top notch 😋.. you must give these a try especially his mai tai’s ! A fabulous stay on a wonderful island Good value all round

We absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Republique; it felt like coming home to family from the very first minute. The resort is located in a small, quiet town (with lots of excellent restaurants just around the corner, all within walking distance), right in the middle of the jungle. The bungalows are clean, spacious, and set in a beautifully maintained garden, with views of the sea. The best part of this place is the owners, Fred and Pilou. They truly care about their guests and are always available for a chat, recommendations around the island, or anything else you might need. We loved Fred’s amazing French breakfasts, and in the evenings, the fresh cocktails made by Pilou. Besides the Mai Tai, the Margarita is highly recommended as well! All in all, we loved our stay here and think it’s one of the best places on the island. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect!

The owners were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed.

The food and drink were a bit on the pricey side compared to other restaurants and bars but there were plenty of options nearby.

Hyvän kokoiset huoneet ja tilava suihku, kaikki oli siistiä. Allas-alue oli myös mukava. Omistajat hyvin avuliaita.
