Silver Bullet Airstream, El Mistico Glamping Ranch

Quiet and peaceful

It was difficult for us to get to the Silver Bullet because the trail was steep and we had to also pull our two wagons over a swinging bridge. In addition, it was very hard to get up into the trailer. When we lifted our belongings onto the deck and tried to open the door, we couldn’t get the lock box to work with the code we were given. We had to call the phone number twice before we got an answer, but no one came to help us. We finally got in with our own key we had with us. We couldn’t lock the door, so we didn’t feel safe at night.

Unique stay in the middle of the woods, would definitely recommend to spend at least one night as it is pretty unique and you can spot wildlife easily in the am. The airstream was quiet, comfortable and very efficient.

We received a code for the gate but not for the airstream. This made the check-in experience a bit convoluted and cumbersome especially because there is NO wifi and NO cell reception where the airstream is. So I had to run up and down the hill to call the property and get the code. Not the best, but manageable.

The location was perfect to disconnect from all electronics and just enjoy nature. The location is sufficiently isolated to make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere but without actually being far away from restaurants and grocery stores…about 20 minutes.

Provided all the amenities and kitchen accessories needed during our stay. RV was very comfortable and warm despite the very cold weather at night. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. This was our third time staying on the property and we look forward to many more stays in the future.
