"Peaceful Haven in Nature"

Loved being in Nature, the cottages are well placed and cosy. Stunning firepit right by a small river, so peaceful. Gorgeous outside shower.

Klein Rivier Mountain Escapes was absolutely PERFECT for what we needed. It is a stunning place - just silence, and INCREDIBLE environment - and our Dassie Cottage was SO lovingly and carefully planned, built and equipped - a REAL gem - and not too far from "civilization", to make it an easy getaway escape

"Hidden Gem!"

It was a real hidden gem. There is a long gravel road but we were able to access it with a Suzuki Swift. It is definitely worth the trip! We will be back. The owners were lovely and the area beautiful. Such a great breakaway.

Amazing little retreat out in the bush. Really amazing property with stunning hikes all over the place. If only the weather was better we definitely would have explored a lot more.

The room we stayed in was solar powered so they only have 12v lights and freezer on the system. Would be good if there was some way to have USB outlets to at least keep small devices charged. Other than that the place was great!

"Nice, Lovely and super comfortable and safe Stay"

The place is magnificent. A perfect getaway from busy City life. You get to connect with nature perfectly. the sounds of the water and the birds are just amazing. The chalets are very private and so in tune with nature. the bathroom allows you to connect with nature still, a super lovely concept. The hiking trails are so lovely and very well marked, and the views in the mountains are extra lovely. Super safe environment and the staff is so friendly
