Jantara Resort and Restaurant

Location in a pretty area overlooking the river The restaurant was tasty and its staff very welcoming.

Dirty! Sheets were not clean. They had not been washed. Garbage cans not emptied and bathroom not cleaned either. No quality assurance standard. Not worth $90 for a stay.

I would suggest to stay there because of the amazing views on the river and the mountains one may enjoy very early in the evening. For travellers arriving late - as I did - please be aware that the kitchen closes early. We ordered Grab food and had - given the relatively remote distance - wait over 1 hour to get our provisions.

Short stay, difficult to mark things I did not liked. Of course the property is run by very friendly staff and the “bubbles” are a super plus in terms of experience. Perhaps not a great choice for people who are not fit to climb very steep stairs. Again the restaurant could have been open for longer…the Grab thing costed, for what it yielded, over 600 THB…which might not be a lot for European standards, but having read the resort’s prices, it was money I personally did not happily spent.

Personal Mega nett sind auf alle Wünsche eingegangen. Restaurant sehr sehr lecker. Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang ein Traum. Morgens wird man wach von 27262883 Tiergeräuschen einfach herrlich :)

Es war leider nicht sauber im Zimmer. Man ist im Jungle ja aber ich meine was anderes an Sauberkeit. Spiegel war noch dreckig von Vorgängern. Zahnpasta Reste am Bambus und viele Haare in der Dusche die schwer wegzubekommen sind :(

Beautiful huts and location by the river. Adorable little bar with swings. Very picturesque setting with lovely helpful staff.

Facilities are quite basic. Be mindful that this location is a fair distance from Surat Thani itself (over half an hour) so take this into account if you looking for a quick commute.

Absolutely gorgeous. Loved every minute staying there.

Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Rust en natuur. Moore lokatie.

Cabina was niet heel schoon en wij hadden tamelijk lauw water in de douche.

Best place around surat thani... excellent staff an exceptional manager and service... thanks for the great time!

Prachtige bamboo huisjes met een heel mooi uitzicht. Keurig netjes en heel erg vriendelijk personeel. Wel erg afgelegen. Vinden wij niet erg. Heerlijk tot rust gekomen.

Als je de drukte in wilt is dit geen geschikte plek. Ligt erg afgelegen. Een Grab is lastig te krijgen.

Un petit Khao sok a surathani! Magnifique chambre au bord de la rivière avec tout le confort! Lit ultra confortables clim douche baignoire télé et WiFi parfait. Le petit déjeuner est servi devant la chambre excellent . Nous avons également manger au restaurant qui est très bon et peu cher! Le manager nous a prêter une canne a pêche pour nos enfants et nous a même emmener au milieu de la rivière en bateau pour se baigner il a été exceptionnelle son accueil et ses attentions étaient au top ! Nous recommandons a 1000% cet hôtel qui fut le meilleur de notre séjour.
