Nice location, very close to Bamburgh which is a lovely place to spend the day for the castle and beach, with other sightseeing locations such as Lindisfarne, Seahhouses and Berrick Upon Tweed nearby. Billy on site was friendly and let us know where he was in the event of any issues. The accommodation was modest but clean enough, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the hot tub was a nice way to wind down after a day of exploring the local area.

Upon arrival we did note that there were some dead bugs around the windows and stuck in the blinds, but otherwise cleanliness wasn't an issue and the stay was overall enjoyable. The lack of an indoor table was a slight issue for eating indoors or playing board games when the weather was chilly, but the lodge doesn't have space for this so it's understandable. Nothing major to complain about other than the bugs. Self check-in was easy and we had a great time overall.

I have had a wonderful time at Goldenhill Retreats. I stayed at the mini pod. It was very warm and clean. The bed was so comfortable. It has a radiator and a kettle. The facilities also have a hot tub, sauna, and BBQ place. The people were extremely polite and helpful. The location is quite perfect to relax and chill. Going to Seahouses, it's worth eating fish and chips at Lewis's. Definitely, I'll go again if I have the chance.

"Enjoyable short break in a beautiful part of the country."

Very peaceful,clean and tidy property. East to locate after a long journey.

Booked as a couple,an actual double/king bed would have been much better than 2 single beds pushed together.

The location was great for us as it was in such a quiet and peaceful area.
