A well equipped hut in a beautiful location. There was everything you needed for a long weekend! Great walking close by and a short drive to Hay-on-Wye

We had an amazing stay here! We’d assumed that the scenery images on the listing were just the surrounding area, and were positively surprised to find that it is the view from the cabin itself! The cabin is secluded on the farm and completely private, creating a completely quiet environment and calming place to stay!

The shower temperature regulator needed plumbing work, which meant that you couldn’t have a cold shower, but the owner was both aware and completely honest about it, so this is not a negative!

Perfect location; quiet and away from other people as it was the only shepherds hut on site

Our stay at the Shepherd’s Hut was incredible. It is so tranquil & loved the attention to detail in the design. The hut had everything you would need for a peaceful getaway including a large shower. It felt bright & spacious with stunning views over the hills. There is a great little pub down the road too, delicious food there. We were very lucky with the weather too but can imagine this place is cosy anytime and we will certainly be back! Thank you Angela for a wonderful stay, would highly recommend to anyone looking to escape & explore.

The location was amazing, such a beautiful view. The shepherds hut was immaculate and well kitted out. I received a lovely welcome too.

The hut is immaculate, you could smell the freshness upon opening the doors. Equipped with everything you need, including garden furniture and bbq to enjoy the evenings taking in the views. Tucked away in a remote and peaceful location surrounded by nature and wildlife. We loved watching the animals! Angela was so lovely and recommended places to visit (the waterfalls are a must!) A gorgeous stay at the Shepherd’s Hut, would highly recommend.
