Next to sand dunes, can hire driver and vehicle to explore them. Tiny but comfortable and charming cabins. Buffet dinner and breakfast better than average. Good place to meet other travelers.

Hard to drive car up steep, sandy hill to facilities. Bit overpriced in my opinion.

The room was comfy and clean, the personnel was kind and absolutely available and the position is great, as it is not too deep in the desert and it is easy accessible. The structure also proposes activities in the desert (dunes riding with suv, camels riding, suv to access high dunes for a great sunset)

really close to the road, therefore noisy, many quads and 4 WD driving into the desert during the night. Food below the average

Located at a base of a red-colored dune range, many cottages have large verandas with fine views of a valley between two dune ranges and magnificent sunsets. The cottages are large and well equipped (large comfy nathroom, aircon...) there's almost no furniture, but the luggage can be placed on the carpets on the floor. The breakfast and dinner are basic, but OK. The personnel if very nice and polite. We were upgraded to a better room at no adiitional cost at a low season.

There's not much else to do but watch dunes from the veranda and relax, but this is why most people come there for a day stop(riding dune buggies can be arranged, though).

Staying at this property was a fantastic opportunity to experience the desert. Located right at the gate of Wahiba Sands, the hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, creating an authentic and charming atmosphere. The cottage houses are lovely, featuring big windows and terraces that allow you to take in the peaceful and quiet surroundings. Plus, it's easily accessible by a normal car - no need for a 4x4, which makes getting there hassle-free. The dinner was delicious. Overall, a wonderful place for a relaxing and scenic desert stay!

The only downside was the communication - there was no response via Booking.com, and replies on WhatsApp were delayed. However, once we arrived, everything was well-organized and enjoyable.

While the camp is great, the location is not good. If you're just having a quick stopover night, then ok. But for tranquility, stargazing, and quietness, this place is an utter disaster. Car noises, SUVs running around with exhaust noises so loud during the whole night and early morning! Also, bright lightes from the street in front are so annoying. Food is ok but not great. It's definitely overall overpriced. The only good thing is you're right at the dunes behind you where you can easily walk up to the dunes landscape. The positive side is that the room was really nice and comfortable and the bathroom is modern with a hotel like standard. Also the staff were absolutely great and attentive.
