Eastridge Glamping - Camping Pods

The setting was beautiful. The pod and the facilities were clean. A very quiet site, plenty of lovely walks locally. The locals made us feel really welcome in the pub which was just a few minutes down the road. The owners of the site made us feel welcome too.

Nothing not to like

We took our own breakfast as we were self catering. The location was just right. We were travelling to North Wales for a weeks stay.

We met no staff until we were leaving and so can’t really comment on the friendliness of the staff as we had no welcome. We had the whole campsite to ourselves which was lovely if a bit creepy at first. I was contacted by a member of staff by text which was reassuring.

Absolutely beautiful pod in an exquisite location. Love the extra touches like the torch, the table, the kettle and free tea & coffee. Also the bench outside and the little lamp was extra cute. The bathrooms were absolutely spotlessly clean which we loved.

Unfortunately both my husband and I had a bad nights sleep as we found the mattress really uncomfortable. However, we are used to a really firm mattress at home so maybe that was just us!

Love the peaceful location of this property, the camping pods are as described and are basic in every way including taking your own bedding which the owners do let you know before arrival. Clean pods and shower/toilet area. Kettle with tea/coffee provided. Cracking food at the local pub, not expensive at all. Great for a one night stop over after visiting friends in the area.

The double bed in the camping pod, yes it’s very low (we knew this from pictures) but it’s so soft we both woke up with back ache, being that low a firmer mattress would be nice.
