"great lodge to chill and escape the real world"

lovely comfortable great layout beautiful location, spacious , very quiet and peaceful

wasn’t serviced ready for our arrival, no heating or gas , altho was rectified very promptly. hasn’t had a deep clean for a while

"Loction was great for what we needed. The lodge ot self was great. It does need some TCL and updating but had everything"

the location was great and the hot tube went down well with the children.

I wouldn’t say disliked but it could of been a little cleaner. It does need some up dating.

"Aesthetically beautiful experience ruined by a member of staff with no manners and a racist attitude."

The size and facilities were amazing, as was the aesthetic layout.

There was a member of staff, who was seemingly the caretaker. He was extremely rude to us, and lacked any common decency, with racist undertones. When speaking to me, he didn’t respond to basic greetings and was dismissive and offensive. He was also very rude and argumentative with my girlfriend when she questioned his etiquette, and even came across as threatening. The interaction with him, soured what would have been a blissful stay in a beautiful place.
