10 Berth on Seaview (Linwood)

Arrived 8.15pm as confimed. There was guests already in the caravan . Contacted the owner who then asked if id go and knock on the door. I suggested camp staff do this. They did move guests out and was eventually let in at 10.30pm. Then we had to clean it . The owner agreed to call me when guests vacated and we waited for his call which he failed to do. I had to call him then he said they moved out half hour ago . We had a 6 yr old who was very tired . We was ready to go home as the caravan waa booked to us from 2pm that adternoon . So not only the owner didnt check but also the house keeping getting it prepared for new guests and realising someone was already there and sorting it out. . During the night from midnight to 4am the man next door was very aggressive shouting , throwing items and threatening to kill someone. We was very fearful . This woke my grandson who was very frightened. We feared our car getting damaged and also if he will try to get in or damage the caravan we was in. However he didnt but experience was not nice. There was no follow up from owner to see if we were ok now the previous guests moved out or if the van was ok after they left or to simply apologise. The caravan was missing loo rolls, clean t.towel. dish cloths, a vacuum that worked properly. a guest welcome card with essential instructions, We have requested a refund from the owner semding him a detailed description of the whole event and he hasnt responded. Totally ignored our message. I have asked for our deposit also . My message has been ignored. If anyone is thinking of booking plot 1 linwood then pleased think again i would not like anyone to experience what we experienced.

We didnt feel valued as a paying guest. The staff didnt want to show us the way to drive to the caravan , we asked 3 times and was told drive over the grass. And pointed to drive over the area where it says " do not drive on the grass " i did question it but he say its ok. I didnt like not feeling safe with the next door .he didnt direct any anger to us personally but he was extremely aggressive swearing , throwing objects and threatening to kill someone. Not what you want on a family caravan site.

It’s was covered in dog hairs all over the beds and the bed settee had wee stains and stunk of wee

Loved the caravan this is our second stay well equipped nice & clean close to fantasy island close to the beach 🏖️
